Hello all,
I was hoping someone could give me a little info. Here are my questions...

1. Will a newer Prelude motor fit into a 88/89 Prelude(seems to me it would)

2. If so, will i need mounts, or will it mount up?

3. Does anyone know the wieghts or where i could find the wieghts for the older model?

I would really appreciae the help. My friend just picked one up for $500 and he is gonna basically give it to me when he gets his real car fixed. I was hoping you all could tell me and help me with my opportunity.

The h22 or h23 can fit. I believe Place racing makes a mount kit for this conversion.

 

The H22 will fit, but i don't recommend it. Everything needs to be custom for it to work, axles, mounts, shift linkages, wiring harness, etc. On top of that your car is heavy it weighs inbetween 2,650 - 2,700 lbs.

Newschoolhatch......There you go, place racing makes a mount kit for 600$ or so.
