i was wondering if you can use the tranny from the d16a1(86-89 i think) integra motors on a dohc zc motor, if so, is it worse or same as SI tranny?

 

if you plan on putting the tranny in a 88-91 civic/crx, it will require custom mounts.

 

the gearing of those trannys would be great though (close to that of the ZC/Si final, but more highway friendly)....i was trying to figure out if i could swap the d16a1 gears into my d16a6 casing, but ive been told that you cant do that

just out of curiosity...does anyone make mounts for this?
