The steering wheel I'm thinking about getting only comes with the wheel + airbag... nothing else.
Will the US reel (hub?) work with the JDM wheel? Or does the JDM wheel have to use the JDM one (what is it called by the way?)

as long as you get one that came off a JDM ITR, it is plug and play. I put mine on without any problems.

 

Your signals won't cancel correctly though, a little annoying, but well worth the bling.

That's because you did not align the spline with the signal canceller properly.

 

everything will work as it does now. Just get everything in place and you should be good to go.

JDM position of alignment key pins on the signal cable reel is not same as USDM. U need to rotated away from the USDM factory Arrow mark at 12o'clock position inorder to accommodate JDM wheel. That is why your signal clicker return will be not working in one direction.
