Let me just say when I read the article on the Type-S today i almost fell over laughing. In Car and Driver they said the RSX-S did a 1/4 time of 14.8 and a 0-60 of 6.1 . They said it bested the Type-R time of 15.2 in the 1/4. So I see this and almost start laughing in the middle of the doctors office. Then I look at this graph they have at the bottom rating acceleration in the 0-60 and 1/4. Okay, the RSX-S has, according to C&D, WORSE acceleration than the Celica GTS and as we all know, the Type-R rips on the GTS all day long (I can usually get 2-3 lengths on one).

So something is wrong here, not sure what, but C&D seems to be way off in their measurements!

Does this all sound like good reasoning here? I think I am pretty much on the button on this.

 

Let me be the first to predict that there's going to be at least 1 (!!) person quoting C/D as the God's truth and saying that the RSX is FASTER than the Type-R. Remember folks, you heard it hear first.
