Actually, the x-brace is for the frame of the car... not the trunk.

It translates most all Japanese pages really quick, unless you have 56k

Anyone got a picture of a master cylinder brace on a car??? Why would you need a brace for it?

I've been known to be wrong... sometimes

I've never seen an x-framed rear strut bar. I suppose it's akin to having a firewall-mounted front strut bar... very interesting.

Carbing has a their Type 2 front upper strut bar out that mounts to the firewall, but its only good for hte JDM cars because of the Brake Cylinder on USDM cars being on the other side blocking it. There is someone on ClubRSX i believe who is trying to make it fit, but i have not heard about it for a while. We will see, just give it time. The Mugen Bar works well with the stock FSTB, so you could have some good results with that.

I dunno if its a problem with DC5's or EP3's, but on older Honda's (Teggy's, civics, Preludes) the firewall flexes a LOT when the brake is pushed hard. The MC brace basically mounts the the struct tower and helps the keep the firewall/MC from flexing, which supposedly firms up pedal feel. I know a buncha ITR guys were running them, try serarching their forum.
