i have intake header and exhaust tell me what else i need i hat going slow. if ya got any ideas besides a swap let me know and if anyone knows what a tranny swap will do let me know thank Beau

i'm sorry, but being a VX owner myself i'll say that you're better off not wasting any money on that motor. You can put all the money you want into it on bolt ons and you'll still get beat by a stock gsr.. hell, i'm sure even a stock cavalier would rock that motor.

 

hey man put a vtec head on that thing with a p28. it was the best mod ever it was a 30hp gain on my car and i love it.. the only thing that sucks is the VX tranny. change that thing to a si tranny and beat up on some ****. i can beat gsrs and SIs in first and 2nd but they blow by me because of the long gear tranny

Tranny swap will put you faster than the EX's with I/H/E.
It's a huge difference!

ummm the engine has a vtec head already! honestly id go with an ls some bolt ons and then later on vtec or turbo...
