when modifying yoru dx harness the 2 outer tps wires need to be switched

the plugs themselves are the same, so just switch the wires on yoru dx harness. are u using the entire si harness or something ? u should just be modifying your stock dx harness.

well i had to lengthen my tps wires, and i had a spare si harness so i just unwraped the tps wires from teh si harness so they would be long, then i cut it off it off and crimped them to my dx and since it already switches it on hte si, i just match the colors up

thats the samething i did using the si plug, and it runs like crap with the wires matched up. it runs ok with them switched but very boggy in the low end. but i'm also throwing a code 9.

Code 9 is No. 1 cly position. That sensor is in the dizzy. Did you hook up the dizzy right?

what Mr. Skelly said. if your #1 CYL Pos sensor isn't working the car will run like crap and most likely won't rev past 3k rpms.
