Default Anyone with ACC carpet in their CRX.

Just like the topic says. Just wondering if anyone here had ACC carpet in their car and what they thought of the quality. I can bet the ACC kit for $243 or the OEM kit that comes with new door sills for $312 on hondaautomotiveparts.com. What do ya think?

Thanks

I got the ACC carpet for my EG Civic a few years ago, so I don't know if they've changed things since then or not. . .but mine came with no holes cut out or anything. It was a little oversized (so you can trim to an exact fit I guess??) and it was a total pain in the *** to get it in. It was hard to get it in the right spot, and then try to trim the outer edges and line things up to cut the holes in it. And it never really fit right in the corners. It's like these wrinkles in it that I can't get out.

If I were to do it over again. . .and you can get the OEM kit for $312, I'd do that. The extra money is worth not having the extra hassles.

I was looking into ACC mats for my rex cause I wanted royal blue carpet, and all the pics they had of it had pre-cut holes and it was a pic of a CRX carpet set, mabey they have changed what they do in the past few years, ya know refined thier product. You could always call the company and ask someone there.

I bought some black carpet from Pep Boys for $24, I got some glue and 3m stick um, and did it myself, My CRX looks great and with the Black Recaros I put in, whoo whoooooo!

It is easy, and you dont have to spend alot of money....just take your time. Make sure you take apart the whole console area, and the e brake housing....yank out the old carpet, and with a bar of soap mark on the new carpet where you need to cut, using the old one as a sort of map. Good luck
