are you serious? please tell me you are joking. all the stuff we get is stripped down compared to the jdm versions, that is why alot of people do those conversions and stuff, cause the jdm is actually better and original (meaning in japan!) why the heck would any one over there want to do stuff with our usdm crap?

 

it would be nice if that was the case. then we would just be able to link up with them and do a nice even trade... core supports and all. Ahh, if only it were a perfect world.

The little time i did live in Japan, I didn't meet a single person over there that would even consider it. Plus they already have them there anyway.

 

they got the circle-light integras for 2 years or something, then honda decided that people didnt like them, and changed the lights, if only theyd done it here too....

 

well damn, i was thinkin they wouldnt do a usdm fron over there as an aftermarket venture like we do here, but i was juat wonderin. i appreciate the replys

 

thats comeup in my mine a few drunken times, but not seriously of coarse, just wishing. i guess it would be sorta cool to have a left hand drive USDM civic or integra over there, just to be different. or you could be neutral and do a center drive civic!

i was talking with steve from hmotorsonline.com.
we were talking about what he is getting in and what was goin out. we got to bullshitting, and he was saying he was packing a container for japan, and it was full of ford and chevy ****. like having a caprice classic over there is a big thing. he hee. thought that was pretty funny.

Yes, the demand isn't as high, but yes. I have seen some JDM ITR's (sunroofs) with USDM front ends.

 

There is somewhat of a following there for USDM parts, including Altezza and clear tails. There's a few magazines dedicated to it in Japan

That is partial true because this guy I know who owns a performance. Said that Japanese car owners who are into honda and acuras want are us side markers opposed to their amber side markers. They like the split car side markers with orange and clear. And yes they pay just as much as we do for our amber corners.

 

base model integras in japan came with the headlights we have.. and i do believe that even some gsr's (si-g's i thin) came with them too.. i am not 100% positive on this.. but i do know that there are integras over there that came off the JDM factory line with the round headlights.. this is just what i was told from a guy who imports crap..

its true.... when I was in japan.. there were many integras with the round lights as well as the strip jdm lighting...
