Default Has anyone in Cali tried to smog an engine with higher then stock compression?

I am looking to see if anyone has passed smog check 2 standards on an engine that is running higher then stock compression. If so, what engine are you using and what pistons? What compression ratio are you running? How high was your NOx readings? My car is passing on the 25mph test, but failing BAD on the 15mph test. I am running a B17 with CTR pistons and around 11.3:1 compression. I am hoping like hell that I don't need to yank the pistons to pass the sniffer, but if it comes down to it I will. Let me know your setups or any advice you may have for reducing the HC, CO%, and NOx emissions. The engine is brand new, about 2,000 miles.. Brand new cat, stock computer, only had a header on it, 35psi fuel pressure, heat range 6 plugs (which I will be dropping to heat range 7's) and a CTR intake cam. I am pretty sure the CTR intake cam primary lobes aren't any different then stock ones. Let me know your input..
