Default c-wings hood?

anybody ever have a c-wings hood. I ordered a VIS but they messed up and sent me a c-wings.

according to the site http://www.importfan.com/product.asp?3=231
they seem to be okay. the only thing is its not one of the ones with the metal latch. The latch on the one I got doesn't look trustworthy(infact i'd put money on it NOT lasting) without pins. One of the reasons I ordered the VIS is because I wanted to go without pins.

Im wondering if anybody has any experience with c-wings hoods.

my latch

I've heard of C-Wings.. My friend got that CF C-Wings hood when he ordered his S14 Headlight conversion for his 98 Civic. Becareful! His hood came up while he was driving and smashed itself. Get hood Pins. But I've heard VIS makes very very good CF hoods that you dont' need hood pins.
