was this a bad year or something? I've heard some people say that they had problems. I also heard that barbados yellows are cursed. What's the dilly yo?

 

yes its so true....i have a 89 Si which is yellow and **** man, i lent my car to my friend for 3 min and he got hit by a car. (he knows how to drive just to clarify ). didnt have insurance then. i think its really cursed!!!

 

are all '89s cursed?

i dont know about the 89s, but there sure seems to be a curse on the Y49s (yellow) ones

 

ya there is a whole website dedicated to horror stories of the y49 curse and the crap that always happens to the owners but i lost the link. Try to find it if i can.

I dunno about this but I think I may jump on the "My Y49 is cursed" bandwagon.. I used to pass this off as mumbo-jumbo but I've been battling with a single problem on my 89 Y49 CRX Si since pretty much when I bought it! Surging RPMs while idling/WOT makes it not fun to drive sometimes (Doesn't do it all the time!). I'm hoping the parts I replace this weekend will help a bit...
