Its funny, after reading those posts how these S2000 owners are racing all these low-powered cars as the civic and such! In my opinion, I think S2000 owners are alot more cocky than ITR owners. They go a little overboard.

I must say, it didn't take long of browing through their forums before I came to the conclusion the majority of s2000 owners are wreckless kids with parents that have too much money. I haven't seen nearly ANY R threads about street racing and beating people... but it seems almost common at their forum.

Again, you have to remember, alot of these people have just stepped up from civics, accords, and preludes. Not that there is anything wrong with those cars mind you. Its just, well, you know how many ricer BS'ers there are out there. They don't post on this board becuase they get flamed to death, or get BS called on them. That board just opened right when they all got their cars.

Even if you beat one of these S2000 owner's in a race in your R they would never admit it they would claim you jumped off the line or his clutch was bad or he was a quart low on oil.

I think the Type R vs the S2000 is kind of an Intel Vs. AMD kind of argument. They're both pretty much the same... You just get more bang for your buck with the R

lol, you guys wont beleive that for their upcoming meet, aka the Irvine meet on 8/18, they are charging people for it. It used to be $33 a car, but now since there is a late charge, the price has been uped to $40. They are limiting the # of cars to 65 and guess what you get for the money you send in, a coffee mug, a high quality credit card style name badge, a s2000online.com t-shirt and some other crap. And I can't believe people paid for that stuff. Whatever happened to those days when people just meet and talk and go for a drive without limiting the # of cars coming and charging people. SHEEEESSSHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
