Removing emblems on Ek hatch

If you remove the DX emblem from the rear hatch does it leave holes in the hatch? Any advise on techniques for removing the emblem?

no holes.. use a heat gun.. warm it up. peel it off or use fish wire, get behind the emblem and peel it off.

No holes, I pulled them off, and to get the glue off, just use a hairdryer, and get the glue heated up, then just pull it off with your fingers.

If you still have the sticky residue you can keep waxing the area and it will come off.
