That sounds like a base RSX time.

I have seen worser times then that when S.C.C. tested a base, rsx, and civic si. The type S was quoted as running a 16.7. It all depends on the driver bro, and in that case the driver of those car should have been beaten. I hit a 15.oo when my car was stock. The type S is a good car and the motor is amazing. It has only been out a while and there is loads of aftermarket parts available for it.
Good luck bro.
Good luck bro.

Base & automatic @ that which is the slowest of the RSXs. Unless someone bogged a launch badly with a 5-speed.

I'll have to say that's quite accurate. If it was any slower, it might as well share times with a regular Civic.

I would be with the... its about the driver and the car. I went 15.6@86 with my ep3. And that was the weekend after i got it. It had 500 miles on it... Now im pulling about 15.0 I would say(went 15.2@90 with shitty tires). And thats just intake and testpipe. And with the hondata, top end is no longer a problem. They are both good cars... If you can afford type s, get it! If not, the SI is a nice compromise. Good luck with whatever you pursue, but make sure its a Honda!

Don't ever call kumho's decent tires... especially for drag racing. Kumho's are teh suck.

EX can run low 16s with a good driver, but yeah. Most people who've posted slips that I've seen have gotten in the mid 16s - bleh.

What do you run in your EX? My friend has a 2k1 EX with I/E ran a best of 16.5@85 mph, but with a horrible 2.55x 60 ft time....

I ran a 14.9 against 30 mph headwind and -2.0 negative front camber with my jic's set for autox on azenis w/ intake and exhaust, so I'm guessing a 15 isn't far fetched but about 15.1 - 15.3 ish
quickest EP i have seen (bone stock) went 15.6
quickest rsx-s i have seen went 14.9 with only a cai
and quickest base rsx(cai, cat back) i have seen ran a 16.0 but at 3000ft altitude ( thats like a 15.6-.7 run at a lower track....
