Soon to be rider
I'm taking my motor cycle classes in June and I have two questions.
1st: What should i bring to classes to be better prepared since they are gonna be 2 days of lecture and 2 days of hands on?
2nd: Since i'm a honda enthusiasts (
), any suggestions on what honda bike i should get with a price range of 8k?

Is this class provided by the MSF? I think they would have sent you an information packet outlining what you'll need to bring. But, if not, then gloves, heavyweight jacket (if not leather), jeans (non-baggy), and boots that cover your ankles. And unless they've changed things since I've been there, it's only one day of lecture and one day of riding, divided across the weekend. LMK if that's not the case anymore.

Is $8000 how much you have set aside for JUST the bike? Don't forget taxes and registration fees. Not to mention insurance. And if you have no gear, you'll definitely want to spend the money to get the good stuff. And if it's your first bike, then you should look into the older CBR (F2 or F3) series. Even the F4 is a good bike, but there's a lot more parts available for the F2/3 bikes. Plus, they usually go for around $3-5k.
