ok, i am putting 93 teg axles in my crx and when i took the old teg axles off the dust ring on the passenger side was gone but the driver side one was still on there i was wondering should i just leave the dust seal on there cause it was not causeing any problems before?

 

What engine and tranny are you running? Are you talking about the metal dustring on the back of the hub?

 

ok it is a s1 tranny with y1 gears in it they were all switched over by the previous owner and a teg half axle cause i am useing teg axles. yes i am talking about the dust ring that sits in the back of the hub.

 

I think you are supposed to have already take off those dust rings if you have a B-series.

 

If it is a B series yes you should have taken both off.

 

does anyone have a pic of one so i can make sure it is the right piece that i am taking off?

 

There is pics on my site under b16a swap, but are you talking about the large ring in the knuckle, or the rubber ring on the axle itself? Well, take both off. It it works better put it back on. Mine are both off. Ryan
