Default FAL windows?

are these stronger then the stock glass. like if i get mad and smash my head into the window followed by a hammer will they break.. id like to know. i know the basic facts like 50-70lbs savings and $450-550. let me know what you guys think about them and other facts thanks... ill be getting for a crx if you must know

I have a set of the FAL windows on my EG and they are sure stronger and lighter than glass windows but a hammer will sure do some mean damage.

they are in fact stronger, there was a great write up on osme web site about them, but they scratch really easily apparently...

my best expierence was with double sided scratch resistant tinted lexan
it was 200 bucks for a 4x8 sheet ...but was well worth it

so you made your own i take it. was it easy to get the lexan to curve the way stock do?

at home depot(home of the famous, drive fast & turn left driver, tony stewert) you can get 1/8inch thick lexan in 4x8 for like $25. but its not scratch resistant though.

u might could possibly clear tint them i think some company makes resistant to scratch tints?

ebay has some FAL windows for crx... type in " crx windows" or something like that the guy wants 450 and thier new i guess. im too lazy to get a link for u sorry
