Default Chaning Tranny Fluid

I have to change this girls tranny fluid for her.. Its a 94 accord ex *AUTO* ...

Ive never changed tranny fluid before.. I know its a simple process of drain and fill.. But i was wondering about flushing the entire tranny through.. what exactly do i do? Just Refill it with some crappy fluid.. run the car for a lil bit.. and drain it.. and refill with the good stuff?

Another questions is: "Is there a big difference between Honda Auto Fluid.. and some other brand?"

if you want the entire tranny flushed:

1. find a honda dealer that will do it (rare)
2. Jiffy Lube (the route I took) and make sure they add a bottle of Lube Guard.

This is what I usually do

Follow the manual service recommendations and at 100K flush the entire tranny so far ever (knock on wood) had an automatic fail every single one has lasted the life of the car

1989 mercury sable auto tranny still good at 196K when 3.8l blew a head gasket
1992 mercury sable auto tranny still good when car was totalled at 143 K
1992 mercury sable auto tranny still good car has 126K
1994 Honda accord LX 105K auto tranny still good

Of course I am not nuetral dropping it either

When you do a drain and fill at most you will get about 1/3 of the fluid most often you get about 1/5 to 1/4
