Wheel spacers to stop rubbing woes?

Default Wheel spacers to stop rubbing woes?

I am running Mugen Lowdowns, 16" MF10's +50mm and 215/45/16 Azenis. I have slight rubbing at full lock and want to eliminate the rub. I searched, but didn't find anyone else running spacers with my setup.
Will 5mm spacers be enough to stop my rubbing woes?

I have exactly this setup. There is slight rubbing a full lock. However, full lock is only going to occur at < 2mph so it is really not an issue. I would forget about it.

[Clarification: I meant the inital setup - not with the spacers.]

I have 225/40-16 tires on the same rims. i only have MINOR rubbing at full lock - so it rubs a bit - who gives a ****?

how often do you drive at full lock??

I was rubbing a little with my 205/50/15 v700s (EG w/ ITR suspension) and I ...(actually SPiFF) picked up some 5mm spacers from OPM.

Now, no rubbing and I haven't had any problems with the spacers. If you don't like the rubbing, get some spacers, I did (and would again).

5mm spacers should take care of your problem. 16x7 +45 offset wheels with the azenis that you have present no clearance isssues. If you cant live with the slight rub, get the spacers.

Well, its not only at full lock, its also when I'm taking hard turns. I don't just drive on the street, but I autoX too. Oops. I guess I should have mentioned that first.\

Looks like I'll be getting the spacers then.. Should help get the car back to handling the way I like it too.. The Azenis are so sticky that I have a hard time getting the rear of the car to come around like it used to with 205/45/16 PZeros.
