I'd take the wheels off, over spray gets everywhere, especially since you aren't in a downdraft style booth.

id suggest painting pieces that can be removed, seperately.
like the mirrors, and the hatch...maybe.

but def the mirrors.

also, this is just my aesthetic, but id leave the mirror bases black, and just paint the cup parts white.

this is cool! have fun with the project. I'm doing the same, but I'll be renting a paint booth to minimize paint defects and avoid breaking the local laws around here. oh yeah, temperatures over here sucks to be painting outside anyways.

post the finished product when you're done!

btw, what paint gun are you using? paint brand and type?
