Default any problems running b16 head b18c block w/jdm b16a2 pistons?

are there any problems running b16 head b18c block w/jdm b16a2 pistons?
valve clearance
journal
will this be a well balanced set up for daily driving
what would the compression be
would the rod ratio be unchanged
is it a direct fit
anyone have experience with this set-up or any dyno numbers
thanks in advance

Nope, you shouldn't have any clearance issues. The B16 pistons are a direct fit onto the B18C rods and will easily fit a B18C block, depending on if you're going OS or STD size pistons.

Your CR should be around 10.8-11.1 range, perfect, imo.

Your rod ratio will be unchanged, since you're not changing the B18C crank or rods. A piston change alone, will not affect rod ratio.

What camshafts are you planning to use ?

with spec b's you *might* run into clearance issues if you adjust the sprockets too far, but there's plenty of lee-way in comparison to CTR pistons (for instance) which those pistons create clearance issues.
