Default A good a/f ratio gauge

Hey whats up guys. I have a couple of questions:

How many wires are our stock o2 sensors ( upstream o2 sensors)? and should I get an auto meter a/f ratio gauge.

Second: What other gauges are better for monitering the ratio other than the Greddy unit, and if I use the Greddy unit, Do I have to weld the O2 they supply or replace it with my stock upstream???

Thanks for the help.

We need to have a sticky on this. YOUR STOCK O2 SENSOR SUCKS AT TELLING WHAT THE A/F RATIO IS!!!! only a wide band o2 sensor can do this. your stock will read 1v if the ratio is more than 14.7:1 and will read 0v if the ratio is less than 14.7:1. Thus it will read lean or rich, nothing else. not how lean or how rich.

Prelude is a 4 wire, btw.

Are you sure? Is this true?

If it is, I'm getting a wide band O2 kit for sure!

So does this wideband thing you speak of come with the autometer AF gauge?

Techedge isn't far down on my shopping list, can't wait.
