DO NOT get the JDM 4-1
who ever said that doesn't know **** about JRSC
DO get the kamikaze header with 2.5" flange - the short primaries on it helps the most with JRSC because it helps reduce blow by

Don't be a dumbass and waste 5-600$ on a catback exhaust.
Just buy u a 100$ universal, straight through 2.5" muffler, and have a muffler shop make you a custom 2.5" pipe from the cat to the muffler for around 100$
You'll get the EXACT same power gains with the custom/universal setup, but you won't be able to say that you have a "greddy exhaust" BIG ******* DEAL

Agreed about the JDM 4-1 being useless - the Kamikaze is *the* header for JRSC applications. Check out http://www.hostboard.com - I think it may be down right now, but if you go to "Cars, Hotrods, Trucks" then -> "Forced Induction Integras", that forum is the best for JRSC / Turbo integras. Lots of smart guys with tons of experience in there.
go with Kamikaze headers, they're supposed to be the best for the supercharged applications. check out the link http://members.aol.com/kmikzehpp/index.htm

And a kamikaze header is generally heard to be "crap" thats why i didnt say them.. u cant go wrong with JDM header.. and to you statement on doing things the cheap way.. If you do it the cheap way why do it at all? your only causeing more probs for the future..
Hey, maybe he was harsh about the way he said it,but it's true. I've heard from almost all JRSC Integra owners having successful installations and great power gains from Kamikaze headers, and never once have I heard anybody recommend a JDM 4-1 header for a supercharged applications. If you own a supercharged integra, perhaps you should check out the forced induction integras board at http://www.hostboard.com - there are more JRSC civic / integra owners on that board than anywhere else. Put it to a poll in the FI forum of this message board, I'll bet you'll get the same response in favor of the Kamikaze.
Do you even *own* a JRSC'ed honda?

Definitely go with the Kamikaze header. If you're interested in everything, talk to Ben at Importparts.

i'm getting a supercharger within this week or next. but i just want to buy everything at once so i can save money on shipping charges. i'll check out hostboard and see what they say about the headers. thanks
IntegraPoweR,
I'm supposed to respect your advice because you have over 1000 posts? The reason you probably have that many posts is because you give all kinds of advice to people whether it be right or totally wrong like you did with the JDM 4-1 for a SC. A JDM 4-1 on a SC setup will cause a loss in power! It's people like you that **** people over and lead import enthusiasts in the wrong direction. People like you that cause others to waste money. IF YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT THE HELL YOU'RE TALKING ABOUT, DON'T SAY ANYTHING AT ALL.
Anybody that knows anything about engines knowS it's a waste to spend 5-600$ on a catback exhaust. It's not cheap it's SMART.
The only reason for paying that much money is for the name brand, the looks, or the sound.
Yeh, I only have 14 posts cause most of the questions on this forum are like... "how do these rims look on my car"? who cares? why waste my time?
sorry to disrespect, but the advice you gave was scary, esp knowing that you have over a grand posts. There's no telling how much you've screwed people over. If nobody would of said anything that guy might have gone out and wasted his money on a JDM 4-1

Dude I think your taking this way too far....he has every right to drop his opinion about what he would do in that position this doesnt mean the person taking the advice is just going to run to the store to buy the part if the person taking the advice doesnt research the product before buying it is his own fault/choice for not doing so.
this is just my .02

I have been told my a few people that the DC 4-2-1 header with DC Exhaust is a very solid combo with the JRSC.....I have been for a ride in one with the AEM CAI and water injection with a 10lbs pulley and I was impressed.......car ran nice times at the track cutting low 13's on street tires.
I have a fair bit of posts, but I own a '99 Integra GSR with a Jackson Racing Supercharger kit, so I mostly post in the hostboard FI Integra forum. The subject of the topic is:
"HEADERS????? Which one is best for JRSC integra? someone help me"
I think GSRcaucAZN78 may have reacted somewhat strongly, but he's right - if you ask pretty much anyone in the FI / JRSC message board community, Kamikaze headers are considered "the best" - dyno proven. I've never heard a JDM 4-1 header recommended for either turbo or SC setups - I would venture to guess that it would be better suited to an N/A application.
This board is (for some people) the only good source for non-bullshit, non-rice information in their geographical locations, and we all need to help see that the information passed around is as correct as possible.

I just ordered my kamikazee header from ben@importparts.com. I plan on getting a supercharger, but not for a while. Does anyone know how the kamikazee will do N/A for a while? I won't LOSE power will i?
Sorry to but in on your post too,but my vote will be for kamikazee...obviously.

Actually, there are turbo setups with "headers" as a header is an "exhaust manifold"...and they are out there.
Can we chiiieeelll a bit...both of you boys are taking it a bit seriously...he wasnt right about the JDM 4-1, but he was right about the 4-1 and that really Kamikazes reliability has been in question in the past due to its makeup. The man is right about it, Kami is the way to go with the JRSC. Hes just defending himself, as you did kinda jump on him, but as I said, you are right on with the recommendation!
