Roughly an easy 1200 for a decent one, sometimes 1500. Pretty much you pay for what you get. I paid 2500 for a complete changeover and that was here is the car here is the money and done deal.

did you pull the motor yourself or did you just leave everything as is, drive the car there, and say, i want this color, now do it?

This is how I brought it to them.

About $1500 later, Inferno Red 3 stage paint.

Personally, I'm stripping down the whole interior, taking off the fenders, bumpers lights, hoods, doors, taking out the engine, wiring harness, everything down to the shell and I'm taking everything down to bare metal, primering, scratching, I'll let them paint it all one by one but I'm goina do the after paint myself.

unless your paint is really shitted and burned off by years of sun stripping to bare metal is not necessary the oem paint makes an excellent primer

Exactly. You only need to go to bare unless the factory paint is lifting or your car has had a repaint like 4 times or basicly if its real thick then you might want to go bare metal.

Thanks man, They did a nice job because I made it as easy as possible to paint the car by taking the whole thing completely apart. That paintjob took them about a day to do.

Thats kind of a hook up price. He would usually charge about 2200 for the same job for anyone else.

The color changes in certain lighting so be sure its the color you want before you paint it. It is the same color off of the chrysler PT cruiser but the painter added some accents to it to bring it out more in the sunlight.

I was thinking of doing milano red again but now I think I'll do another shade of red. I'm going to try and find a color that is close enough to milano red so I won't have to do my engine bay.

same here. A guy around my area did it to his SI. I think he added pearl to it. It looks lighter than the stock color, but in some light it looks pink.
