Default how many times can a KN filter be recleaned and use?

well I've cleaned my filter about 4 times in the past 2.5 years. I clean it and "re-charge" it with the K&N cleaner kit. I was just wondering how many times can i clean and re-charge it before it no good?

i mean there must be some point in time were the filter can to used because it's been re-condition too many cycles.

Well, it says to clean it every 50,000-100,000 miles, unless you rack up mad mileage you are probably overdoing it on the cleaning. I did not see anywhere in the K&N instructions that suggests it can "run out", but then again how often does a car reach 50,000 miles? If you are worried about it, I would just stop cleaning it. It even says "let the dirt build up work for you, it will not hurt performance and will actually help filter the air". Hope that helps a little.

lol...Seriously, that is what the instructions say. I know, I clean early too, around 15k like you said, but according to K&N it really isn't necessary (and that was the only time I cleaned it before selling it, so it had about 20k after). Unless it looks like it has holes or something, I don't think I would worry about it.
