Default Dist. on mini me

Yes I searched. On a D16A6 with a z6 head, what distributor should I use, then what mods do I need to do to make that distributor work?

What ECU are you going to use? I guess you are going to use the 88~91 PM6 (Si or EX - non automatic)? You have to match the distibutor to the ECU. So, with the 88~91 ECU you will use the 88~91 distributor.

Put the distributor in the head. You will immediately notice that it does not bolt in. You have to modify the "ears" by cutting notches in them. This will allow you to set the timing correctly. I can't remember which side (toward front of car or rear) you need to notch, but I'm sure you can do a search and find out.

You can also DO an OBD-0 to OBD-1 conversion and use a P28 from a 92~95 Si. This will require some more work, but you will be able to use the 92~95 Si distributor that bolts right on to that head with no modding required.

If I did an OBO-0 to OBD-1 conversion, would I have to convert my entire wire harness, or is there a special wire harness conversion kit that I could put onto my existing harness that wouls allow me to plug the Z6 computer into my harness?
