restoring work RSB's

Default restoring work RSB's




they came with a polished lip and were red. took them to a place for the polishing but the guy said he couldn't do it with out f'n up the spokes . should i take them to a place that does small things like knives or whatnots?

any opinions, suggestions or help is much appreciated. thanks

We had the same problem with some Racing Harts, check this out, worked pretty well...... https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=437887

1) sand off the clearcoat on the lip
2) use a finer grit to remove small blemishes, and smooth it out
3) wet sand, wet sand, wet sand
4) Mothers Mag Polish
5) couple of coats of wax for protection

these wheels came out in '92 for the EG6. they came in flat black, silver, white and red. all with a polished lip . I think it's pretty cool to know the history on wheels.
