That's the number one place in japan where they manufacture spoons. They have a building somewhere else where they make plastic forks and knives.

 

if memory serves me correctly, a small showroom is setup on the forth floor. The garage is set up downstairs, and the second and third floors are used to house their merchandise; and it's incredible what (and how much) they stock considering the amount of space they have

 

It's a mystery, like ***** Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. hmmmm I wonder if Spoon has their own Oompa Loompas?

Personally, I'd like to go visit Toda Racing.

 

Man, if that place was in my town, I'd probably live in a cardboard box...because they would have all of my loot! Seriously, can you imagine living a block from toda, mugen, or spoon HQ. I would definitely be broke...hell, i would probably just try to get a job there because I would always be there drooling on everything.

 

We should all plan a Honda-Tech meet in Japan one day...You know how awesome it would be to get a bunch of ITRs and head towards Honda R&D for a celebration. Then have a cruise down the highway to see Mugen and Spoon and Toda...man! That would be schweet...I'm definitely in if you guys are in...

hahaha..that would be cool.....like them tourist groups or something...but instead of looking and visiting the actual country.....we'll be visiting Spoon, TODA, Mugen, and of course HONDA HQ and see how they make the Type R...like a field trip....hahahahahahaa

 

I've seen a couple of articles in magazines that talk about gettng tours of the plants and showrooms. I can't remember which magazines I saw it in, One might have been Super Street awhile back. Good thing I don't live in those area's or else I would really be spending a lot of money.

 

Hell yeah! Kidnap key Honda Officials and brainwash them to think that the JDM market and the USDM market is the same thing.

Hate to say it, but the mere thought of a bunch of "gaijin" showing up and drooling over their stuff would probably make them cringe.

 

If you are living in Japan, I am sure you won't be so drool over all the JDM stuffs. Remember, something that you can't get always seem to be better!!

 

LOL, I was thinking the same thing. Anyone know if there is a Japanese chocolate bar you can eat in search of a golden (or carbon fiber) ticket?
