next to that, there DC sports who always go for card stamps...but i don tthink they are any good in muffler systems but their JDM headers have great rep.

i had a tanabe racing super medalion exhaust and i got pulled over twice but i showed the cops the certificate that tanabe provided and i got let go. i heard greddy has the same type of certification.
i didn't think CARB affected exhausts... since it's a "CAT-BACK"... meaning it shouldn't affect emissions AFTER the cat.
the only thing that DO affect exhaust is that it should be under that 95db limit...

Yes, as long as the exhaust is cat-back the system is street legal. Are looking for just building an NA car or Boosted?

DC's cat-back for the EP3 is not legal, as it is over 100db. I asked about this at the sema show, as I did not like the twin tip that they offer. They said that is all they will be doing for the EP3. So if you want to be legal, and be under the 95db limit for Ca, I'd avoid DC sports.
Depending on how much you want to spend, the Mugen twin loop will be out soon for the USDM EP. Expensive, but very nice (quiet too)! http://www.kingmotorsports.com...Civic

Incorrect, southern california is another story.....a shiny muffler will get you the ticket....may it be to meet a quota or not.....i've been pulled over plenty o' times for a shiny Greddy SP on my late TEG.....quiet yes a SP is, but it's still modified....well that's the explanation I got ..even after I pulled out the Carb letter....and well when I went to CHP they always wrote it off.......
There are a bunch of nice exhaust systems available for the EP3. I'd look into the Skunk2/RSR N1 exhaust. Look to see if it has a CARB #. Very nice system. 60mm piping (aprx. 2.38") available in fully polished stainless. Might be a bit loud, but also includes a silencer..
