Default Where can I find the DIY for clearing 4th gen stock tail lights?

I searched here and on PO.com, i remember there was a write on hp.com. Does anyone have a link to this DIY, preferably with pictures?

I'm kinda bored right now and would like to try this tonight, so any help appreciated, thx =]

what I did was bake them for 5-10 min. at 250-300 (they start to smoke at 350... don't ask.)

then pull them apart CAREFULLY. can I reiterate CAREFULLLLLLLLLLY enough?

Shove pennies, nickels, whatever inside there to help hold parts of it apart. Don't be afraid to reheat them if the glue starts to cool, otherside you will crack the plastic.

A heat gun helps a lot too.

Then just break off the damn orange and clear part.

I did it to mine and then did a few other things while they were apart. Thanks to Str8rcn for giving me some ideas.

i duno about the 4th gens but on the 5th gens its real easy to do with a soldering iron. you just melt the orange plastic piece into an X, break it apart and take it out
