hey guys i gotta crx dx and i was testing my seatbelts to see if it's gona hold me in my seat if something crazy happens (knock on wood NOW). Turns out that it buckles and all but it doesn't hold me in the seat....meaning i can still fly into the windshield if something happens. Seems like the belt doesn't lock after you buckle it...anyone having the same problems?? help me out towards this safety issue...thanks guys...agp

 

Crazy question but have you tried pushing against it really fast and in a sudden movement? If you push slowly it will let you move with it, but its just designed to hold you back when sudden impacts occur, such as slamming on the brakes, or when you do hit something. Might not be it, just thought I would propose it.

 

go to the dealership. they will give/instal new seat belts as long as your car doesnt have a salvaged title. Mine didnt even retract on mine.
