Default STR intake manifold question?

i just installed my str intake manifold but i left my stock gsr Throttle body on it, can the stock throttle body have any effect on how my manifold works or performence? Because my car stalls a bit when i floor my car from a downshift (4G-2G WOT)

G"s indicate gears
wot = wide open throttle

TB definately effectshow the IM performs. Since your turbo, I say go bigger. In all motor apps, I've read; Big IM plenum, small TB diameter. Small IM plenum, larger TB diameter. I don't know if this is completly true, but that was the only refernece by a writer to this matter and the writer is very knowledgable.

Yes go to a bigger TB!! Only if you are F/I, though.

That manifold is massive and needs more air. If you are running a small *** TB, the manifold isn't getting enough air. Run something like a 70mm.
