I read on ITRCA that you need 5mm spacers if you run 225s but does that require extended studs too? I doubt it but I just want to be sure. Thanks.

 

you are ok. It is close, but I run 225's on the rear with 5mm spacers and stock studs.

I am doing more track days and probably more stress on my car than autox, so I will be switching to extended studs soon, just for safety's sake.

 

225's on the rear? phew.

I like a front bias... 225 front and 205/195 rear.

 

I have extended studs on mine. Not sure if it is necessary, but I did just to be safe.

They are a bitch to change though. Make sure you get a good hardened race stud if you go longer, because you don't want to change them twice. I got mine from Comptech, but I think you can find an ARP stud cheaper.

 

I like 225 on all 4 corners.
