please help codes 9,10,15,16,17,
just did a mpfi swap and it ran fine for the last few days with a code 9. then i canged the oil and started it up and it was missing bad and was blowin straight fuel out of the exhaust and had code 10,15,16,17. does any body know what the heck could of happened? it ran killefr before this happened.
check your connections at your ecu and your grounds. make sure none of your wires have come loose, those are MPFI-related codes for sure. 15 is ignition output i believe, which happens sometimes when some of my wires come loose, and 16 is injectors. good luck.
ok i jjust traced back all my wires and grounds and i unpluged the ecu and pluged it back in. now it only has a code 9 and 16 and runs alot smoother, but it is still blowing alot of gas out of the exhaust and alot of grey smoke. what wpould cause the code 16 and all the smoke?

possibly running rich. Did you rebuild the motor before you put it inf? It could be some oil burning off the cylinder walls. good luck

no i didn't rebuild it, but it ran great in the car i pulled it from and it ran good in my car besides the code 9. but after i changed the oil it was missing terribly and it was smoking really bad and it had all of them codes. then i drained a little oil becuase it was slightly overfull and reset the ecu, then it ran alot better but still smoked a little and a code 9. then i changed the oil from 20-50 to 10-30 and it's not smoking anymore. do you think the 20-50 oil is to thick for a hond motor. i'm acctually a vw man, a modded vw rabbit motor loves 20-50 so i figured it would work good in my rex
