why?

92 DX Hatch: 2178 lbs.
93 DX Coupe: 2224 lbs.
92 DX Sedan: 2275

pretty even bases. if he likes a 4 door, let him get a 4 door. they look really cool too

well im getting the 4 door for a few reasons.

1 its only 540 bucks
2 im sick of only haveing 2 drs and i want to be able to fit others comfertable in the car
3 u don't see many 4drs running 13s and id like to get into the 13s eventually
4 i like the 4door and i just think it would be more of a challange and more of a sleeper. who would expect a 4door civic to pull on a mustange or camaro.

thats what i say....... , i have a 4 dr and have only been to a 1/8 mile track

RT. .752
60' 2.38
MPH 74.0
ET 9.53

not to bad, considering that i am not the greatest of drivers..... yeah and i even admit to it.
but get what you want, something that you'll be haapy with and who cares what others think as long as its what you like.
and besides, everyone seems to have a hb nowadays

go with a B18C if your gonna do it, do it right and go with the torque

you will have an easier time getting in the 13s than i will bmcc72, my car weighs more than a 92 sedan.

i've got a 93 DX coupe me self but don't really dig hatchs or sedans... but you know what I say:

Just think of the 2 more doors as "bonus" doors!

I know, i'm a dork but hey whatever...

4 doors are nice when your out w/ your friends plus you don't see as many of them done up. Good luck with your civic bro!

what engine do u have? setup list please? hehe

and i would go with the b18c1 but i can prolly get a b18b block for about 750 with mounts and ecu and dizzy. and then i could buy a brand new type R tranny and still be under the price of a gsr swap and maybe even put rods and pistons in

Okay mine is not the best but it does trap pretty good:

Built B16
T3/T04E
8psi boost

60 foot= 2.6
1/4 mile= 14.5
MPH= 105 mph

The car is now parted out and awaiting to be put back to stock, but, it was one hell of a sleeper though

I assume you mean boosted b18c?
If not just a boosted d16 or b18b will have more torque then just a straight b18c swap. I don't mean to turn this into a "this vs. that" thread I'm just pointing out a misconception that one may have with your post.

In my old 1992 Civic LX 4door i pulled a 14.7 on bald street tires. setup was JDM SiR2 B16A, Skunk2 Manifold, DC Sports 4-1, some shitty custom exhaust, AEM CAI, Clutchmasters Stage3 Clutch and flywheel.

does anyone know if the b18b would run close to that with the similar mods?

I used to have 91 4dr, ran mid 13s on a built b16 and nitto 555s. 172hp at the wheels, on a 2104lb car. i have some pics info and dyno at:

http://www.1point6.onlineshowoff.com

Also, huge props to doing a 4dr and stepping outside the norm.

i would be looking to boost them all.

d16z6 with rods and pistons running 15psi daily on a T3 super 60
B18b and eventually build and boost
b16a2 eventually boost
b18c1? omm may be alittle to expencive but maybe. for the money iwould pobably get more hp out of a b18b.

all woudl have an lsd tranny and hopefully slicks.
also im leaning more twards the ls build up and then turbo because i might get an ls longblock for 550+300 for a mount kit. and then i could buy an almost new Type R tranny for about the same price at a gsr swap.

stilllooking for some b18b times
