itr muffler on crx

itr muffler on crx
is it possible to run 2 1/2 inch piping to a itr muffler and put it on a crx? i want to do this cause alot of peeps where i live are getting exaust tickets and i dont want to have a big shiny piece hanging under my car. and i also dont feel like paying around $500 dollars for a name brand cat back systems. thanks in advance
