i got a used gsr motor and the guy who sold it to me said it had itr cams.how do i tell if there itr or gsr?

 

the ramp angle of the GSR VTEC lobes are similar to that of the secondary lobe. They are higher, however not that much wider. ITR cams have a different ramp angle, are wider and much taller than GSR. I know what I am looking at... however they are also notched at the cam gear side to identify the cam. they arent easy to get to. You would have to have the cam free of the motor to see this. As far as the lobes are concerned, you can see that with them being installed.
