okay so i bought a shell...and the engine bay is pretty much empty except for the coolant tank, radiator, battery, cut vac hose, wires. i bought a complete stock motor swap from a friend, but then the nuts and bolts are all gone in the engine bay. will all these hardware be on the motor or will i need to find em else where...and where the hell would i find all these hardwares????? ahhhhhhhh

well, i hope YOU aren't the one doing the install, but you can easily find these at a junkyard, or honda dealership, or http://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com have fun. peace.

 

Did the same thing. Some parts came with the swap, others from Foster's Auto Parts (wrecking yard in Portland OR), others from someone here on honda-tech (Portlander) who was parting out a GSR.

All in all, not too bad, time or $ wise. You do have to be a bit of a scrounger...

Another helpful thing is a factory service manual, plus the parts diagrams you can find places like this:
