Default My h22 swap plans.

Okay this is the deal. Im grabing a 95 closed deck block then slaping a 97+ type S head on it and using a ATR transmission but I need to make 100% sure that the ATR will fit into a eg with a h22 swap. I would think that it would be no problem in fitment since they are used for h22 motors.

Anyone know or use the ATR transmsisson.

Are you referring to the Euro R tranny (F20B) or the ATR V6?

sport compact

So there wont be any problems with fitment in a eg with a h22 in it.

Damn... SCC magazine has been chitty lately so I haven't gotten any of the latest issues for over a year now. If you can, scan it in so we can see what SCC had to say. Do they source their info and where/who they got it from?

Sorry don't have a scanner. But i can say that they loved the power form the motor. The car came standard with a prelude type S motor with a 141mph top speed right out of the box. The gearing is 17% shorter and also features 17% shorter throws, all synchroses are beefed up, the tranny also come standard with a LSD. The car it self is 40% stiffer and comes with a limited slip differential. Some weight reduction was also done but it didn't say what they exactly did. The car also comes with recaros, hids, 17" white wheels, larger brakes all around, and elctronic brake distribution.

They where in Italy to visit sparco and found the accord type r, so they decided to the article on it. They contacted honda to ask them if about the accord type r was coming to the U.S. Honda only replyed that there would be a "shift towards performance" for the accord line, but it wouldn't come with the red valve cover, the prelude type S motor if it did come to the U.S.

Also this is the gearing on ATR tranny:
1st: 3.285
2nd:2.090
3rd: 1.481
4th:1.071
5th:0.870
final:4.266
