install my greddy header today
took my car to the shop today, everthing went well except for the stock cat . they can't get it out . they said they were gonna hollow out the cat and put it back on,
is this a good idea or i just get a hi flow cat??
does hollow cat sound nasty??
can hollow out my cat give me HP??
does it better if i just get a new cat from honda?
anyways things that we installed today aem cai, greddy header, apexi n1 cat back
can't wait to drive it when it done. i'll let you guys know the results
thanks

hollw cat will sound nasty/ricey but will give you HP gains. IMO, get an aftermarket cat... it'll pass emission test, a hollow cat won't.

You sure about that? Is it were an or was an? I was debating on whether it should be "were" or "was".

It would be "were" because you are referring to the "things that were installed".

I believe the correct way would be:
Anyways, the things that were installed today were an AEM CAI, a GReddy header, and an Apexi N1 cat-back.
In this case, the tenses agree. What "things" were installed today? An AEM CAI, a GReddy header, and an Apexi N1 cat-back were installed today.
Anyhow, this is to keep from deviating too far from what viet4gvtec originally posted. One could even go so far as to change the the verb usage from passive to active voice. This has probably gone farther than it should have, and back to the point of this thread, congrats on your GReddy header viet4gvtec. Any feedback on the header?

Are you putting it on a 5th gen? If so definitly let me know what you think and any other problems you have, If it is a 5th gen did you move the cat back or just remove it? Im bout to order mine, just wanted an opinion.
cant you just put...
things that were installed today were; an aem cai, greddy header, and an n1 cat back
oh well, i hope you like it. you should be beeter off with an aftermarket cat. little gains and still pass the smog test. keep us informed

who the **** cares, maybe some people aren't from English speaking countries, and perhaps they have trouble writing gramatically correct, does this have anything to do with Honda-tech? Anyways, yes please post opinions about the greddy header after you get it installed.
The DC header for the H23 will give great gains. Basically, any aftermarket header will, because the H23A1's OEM exhaust manny is a castiron POS
.
Unlike like the OEM tubular header design, of the H22's..

Is Greddy that much better than DC Sports for the H22A? I have heard that DC Sports doesn't help much and that Greddy is much, much better and produces power.
gutting your cat doesnt sound ricey..my god...mines gutted and i have an N1 on my h22, and everyone that has ever heard it loves it, running exhausts with no resonators sounds like ***
