well this is my first encounter of a prelude owner here in Japan. An American by the way. So this guys come over my office to install a digital camera program which I didn't even need. As soon as I turn on my computer he sees the wallpaper of my car and he goes "oh you have a prelude"
me "yeah"
he says " I have one too, you probably seen it on base"
me knowing that this was probably true "oh yeah what gen is it and color?"
he says " is a 94 red prelude you probably would remember the dual exhaust i have on it"
me realize that i seen the crappy car "oh yeah I think I seen it around, so what else you have done to it beside the exhaust?"
he says "just install a turbo kit on it"
me surprise since I seen this car plenty of time around base and never heard the BOV "so what kind of BOV you have cause I don't remember hearing it on your car ?"
he says "BOV, no I don't have one is a waste of money"
me "so what kind of fuel management you using?"
he says " Vortech is pretty tight and I got it all down, I could lower my VTEC and be on VTEC all day"
me surprise "hmm I have AEM EMS on my car and I just install my turbo kit too"
he say " EMS man that's a waste of money"

after that he kept talking BS nothing important...

I'm in Iwakuni, been here for about 2 months now happy to say that I seen more preludes then civics. I'll try to get pictures off his car seen is a small base i see it a few time during the week.

edit: yesterday there was a Big show here on base "Friendship Day" I work as parking lot security so I took a bunch of pictures of cars. to include a brand new GTR, a few WRXs, S200 and a few others. I'll posted them on the general discusion later on today when i get a chance to upload them.

I tough about that, since the new trend is JDM back in the states but I have to get me a car first to drive around here.
