I'm in the process of prepping my car for paint work, and I have a set of jdm sidemarkers I'm putting in. I was wondering if anyone has a set of EF fenders with the JDM turn signals in them; and take them out, take a picture of the size and shape of the hole for me. Cutting into my fender just isn't my thing, but I will for the sidemarkers and want to do it the right way. Thanks guys!

yea, i just got some JDM sidemarkers for my CRX as well. how much did you pay for yours? i got them for $45 shipped. anyway, i was wondering how they are mounted in the fender - are they just fitted inside the hole you cut for the fender? there is no other mounting hardware to make it secure?

p.s. - are the sidemarkers supposed to on with the parking lights, then blink with the turn signals, or jus blink?

 

Man, the things I do for other EF owners. For those that have to have the exact location...



It's for a Civic, but the CR-X uses the same sidemarker, so the hole should be the same. Don't know about location for a CR-X though. Probably close to same. Remember that the arrow on the sidemarker points to the front of the car. And don't cut out the wrong template for the wrong side! They are suppose to just blink. HTH.

yeah but i heard that if you look at the inside of the fender it's got markings for where to cut.
