I have a 89 accord with the 2.0l fi motor in it i want to know if any other motors like the b16 or b18 motors will fit? im new to the honda revolution and dont know much so please understand if i ask something that sounds dumb. also what is a better motor the b16 or the b18 what years, which years have the best heads and is it possible to put a newer motor in this bodystyle? what body is it,what generation? sorry so many questions but would like to find out as much as i can. thanks

 

You have a 3rd gen. I THINK b series engines fit in those, but am not completely sure. You probably won't find a lot of 3rd gen guys here, but http://www.3geez.com is a really good site for you.

 

Anything is possible. go down to your local tuner hang out shop and see if there is someone crazy enough to take on the task.. if there is he will say you should do an H22. ignore that. the H will be very expensive on such an extensive project.

 

Place racing sells mounts just for that purpose. 3geez.com has an awesome write up of FAQs for your car. I'd go over there and just start reading up.

 

both those engines are possible swaps for the
89 accord i have a 88 lxi which i am now in the process of swapping a jdm b20 into . and 3geez .com will have alot of info on the motor and parts needed for the swap.
