I stumbled across this auction 2 hours before it ended:

The title of the auction is:
"Real Mugen Stripe JDM Graphic Civic 92 da eg"

Knowing that there are many misrepresented items on eBay, I wasn't sure if the these Mugen body stripes are real or not, especially considering that they have already been discontinued by Mugen. I e-mailed the seller immediately after I discovered the auction, but didn't recieve a response in time, so I didn't place a bid. The auction ended at $61, which is a very good price IF they are real and a ripoff if they are fake. I would have bidded if I knew for sure they are real, but I couldn't be sure.

For all you Mugen experts out there, do these look real to you?

no, those are front mugen graphics.

ok ok, but seriously, somebody probably made those at a sign shop with a vinyl cutting machine.

 

Honestly the only ones that I can tell are real are the BB6 Preludes because there is a color overlay, but it maintains a one piece and not different pieces laid over and there is pearl and some kind of clear coat to make it look like paint. I heard that the Civic and Integra's are just the same as a vinyl shop. Should've done that. Hope they're real for you r sake though.

i usually assume if its on ebay its not real. safety first.

This is true. I have little stickers on my quarter panel, and please for everyone else who does have full mugen stuff don't get the sticker just because is Mugen and you have a shift ****.

its just a sticker...and unless it says Moogen.. then it's fien by me. no need to pay 300 bux for a red and silver piece of tape. haha
