Do you have afriend with a ZC, if so swap the entire distributor. I have replaced the major components and still had no spark. New dist and all was good. The dist from an 88-89 Integra will work also.

Is there power to the black and yellow wire (bigger) at the distributer when the ignition is on. The main relay also sends power to the ecu and fuel pump. Is there power at the ECU?

Did the tach start acting weird, unstable, just before it failed? I have seen the bearings go bad and shake the electronics apart (internal shorts/open circuits). Have you tried a complete Dist swap with a running ZC? That has been the only way i have fixed mine. All the old dist components check out fine but it still would not fire. New Dist, Problem gone! Put old one back in an it did not run. Again I thoroughly checked all the individual components. It appeared good!
