Default Vtec oil pump = Vtec water pump?

Is this correct? I did an LSVtec a couple years ago, and I cant remember exactly what the combination is. Im using a GSR oil pump, so I am going to want a Vtec water pump correct? TIA.

No you can use any combination. I have a Vtec oil pump and LS water pump on my B20Vtec right now, no problems. You do however have to use a Vtec timming belt if you use a Vtec water pump.
