Well, I too went and test drove an RSX Type-S today. I have to admit that it has a comfortable ride. But the first thing I notice was the difference between that car and my R. Everything in the RSX seem to be soft...too soft. The car felt really tall. Acceleration seemed to be sluggish to me. What I did not like was the noise coming from the exhaust manifold, now that it is facing backwards. It was a annoying buzz noise that actually gave me a headache. I can't imagine what it's going to sound like in a Type R, when there's no dampening material...

At the end I race one... The sales guy said he had one of the first ITRs when they came to Houston. I got about 3 or so car lengths ahead of the RSX. Weight does make a difference...

What are your mods when you "raced" a RSX-S? Was it from a rolling start or from a dead-stop?

 

It was from a dead stop. He got a slight lead on the launch, but I pulled ahead. I have a AEM CAI and headers.
