Okay.. my boy just dropped a ZC into a 90 civic SI

The motor seems to run good, but when it gets to 4500RPM it just starts bogging and wont let him rev past about 4500RPM? Any ideas? I tried the basics like Timing and ECU, Plugs and wires...

Also.. The two wires that are added around the distributor seem to do nothing..
If you un do them there is no change in the motor if there attached there is no change in the motor..

Were stumped...
