Valentine 1
I had mine hotwired. I'm afraid I don't have any pics, but it is VERY easy to do. Takes maybe an hour. There are lots of different ways to do it. Check out s2ki and do a search for V1 or valentine and hardwire and you'll find plenty.
I wired mine according to the instructions in the library over there, but I routed the wire up the A pillar and then across the top of the windshield frame behind the trim. I enlarged the little hole that the visor pegs fits into and then popped the power cord through. Then I just used the visor clip that came with the detector.

ha.. I bought my first V1 maybe a week before my S was on the road this year.. I hardwired it months later.. id post a pic... but ill let you picture it in your head.. its mounted underneath the mirror the wire is run up behind the top lights then across to the a pillar, down that and to a switch, then to a constant 12V source..

I don't have an S2000, but that's the same way I did it.
